Who is he: Indian Cricket Player.

How's he Punjabi: Born in Chandigarh on 12th December 1981 in a Punjabi family.

Trivia: His father, Yograj Singh was a cricket player for India, and now is a popular actor. Yuvraj Singh was the man of the tournament during the 2011 Cricket World Cup, which India won.

Some believe that the word Punjabi is synonymous with Sikh, which is really not the case. Most who think this way are from some central Indian states, & seem to ignore the fact that Hindus, Muslims, Jains and Christians form a big part of this beautiful community. A true Punjabi is a person who, regardless of his religion, traces his roots to Punjab on both sides of the border of India and Pakistan, or to Haryana, Himachal Pradesh & Chandigarh since these places are parts of the original Punjab before it was divided into states and territories.
